A period of time established by the legal system, after which an active worker who has been contributing to the social security system since age 16 ends their working life and begins receiving a monthly pension until their death, provided they have met the criteria specified in the legislation. Currently, retirement age is 67 years or 65 years with 38 years and 6 months of contributions.
